The Contractor shall provide scientific and logistical support services to the Tobacco Control Research Branch (TCRB), the Tobacco Regulatory Science Program (TRSP), and the Division of Cancer Control and Population Sciences (DCCPS) in the conduct of 1) scientific writing, editorial, and graphic services; 2) project management expertise to support completion of scientific projects; 3) coordination of scientific conferences and meetings; 4) development and production of a tobacco monograph series and other scientific publications; 5) programmatic support for Tobacco Regulatory Science Program tasks; and, 6) programmatic support for behavioral research tasks. The Behavioral Research Program, Tobacco Control Research Branch (TCRB) and the Prevention, Control and Population Sciences Branch (PCPSB) within the Office of Acquisitions, National Cancer Institute, National Institutes of Health intends to solicit for scientific writing, technical and logistical support services for the purpose of fulfilling the mission of TCRB to develop and disseminate tobacco research-related materials, meetings to plan these strategies and disseminate these informational products and generally support the internal and external efforts of TCRB to fulfill its mission within the framework of the NCI’s overall mission and goals. This contract may also be used to provide services to the Division of Cancer Control and Population Sciences (DCCPS), whose funded research aims to understand the causes and distribution of cancer in populations, support the development and delivery of interventions, and monitor and explain cancer trends in all segments of the population.
