AMENDMENT 0001 This amendment corrects an administrative error regarding the NAICS code for this requirement. The NAICS code has been changed from 532490 to 334516 - Analytical Laboratory Instrument Manufacturing. The response deadline has also been extended to August 31, 2020 at 12:00 PM EST. All other terms and conditions remain the same. OVERVIEW The Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS), National Institutes of Health (NIH), National Cancer Institute (NCI), seeks to procure a hardware license (i.e. “lease”) of a brand-name or equal Oxford Nanopore Technologies GridION instrument. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items, prepared in accordance with format in FAR 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice, and shall be processed in accordance with FAR Part 13 – Simplified Acquisition Procedures. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. This combined synopsis/solicitation is issued as a request for quote (RFQ) and includes all applicable provisions and clauses in effect through FAR Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2020-08 (7/14/2020) Simplified Acquisition Procedures for commercial items.
