WRSU requires an EMERGENCY contracting action for the procurement and installation of mechanical cooling system components such as strainers, gate valves, hose bibs, and bypass loops in the Main Distribution Frame (MDF) server cooling loop for the Specialty Services Building (SSB). The primary hospital server systems have recently begun to overheat at critical levels due to missing components not originally installed. The server cooling lines have blockage resulting in Critical High Discharge Pressure and Critical Persistent High Discharge Pressure alarms. The original systems install did not include strainers, hose bibs, gate valves, or loop bypass’ loops as shown in the installation manual.
