The Whiteriver Indian Health Service Hospital requires a contracted project for the installation of a canopy over the Supply Department loading dock area. The scope of work detailed below outlines the required project outcomes. The Contractor shall be responsible for all necessary work to achieve required outcomes including labor, equipment, tools, personal protective equipment (PPE), Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJ) coordination, Infection Control and Risk Assessment (ICRA) policy adherence, internal construction permits, incidental design, travel, per diem, TERO fees, and other related expenses required to complete the projectThe Supply Department loading dock is currently unprotected from weather elements. This results in weather damaged shipping containers that are typically cardboard. Damaged containers are at a higher risk of the internal materials or supplies becoming damaged during delivery to departments. The contractor shall install an awning like canopy over the shipping and receiving loading dock. The canopy shall cover the area from the building to six foot over the loading dock pit. The canopy shall extend three foot past the loading dock pit on both sides. The canopy shall be no less than 16’ above driving surface.
