The Albuquerque Area Indian Health Service is conducting market research to identify qualified vendors capable of providing one full-time Nurse Practitioner for non-personal comprehensive outpatient primary care at the Ute Mountain Ute Service Unit in Towaoc, Colorado. The Nurse Practitioner would serve pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients with assessment, evaluation, diagnosis, treatment, medication management, preventive care, referrals, coordination of care, scheduled clinics, same-day appointments, and walk-ins. Services are anticipated up to 2,000 hours per year, generally Monday through Friday during regular clinic hours, with a period of performance of one base year plus four one-year option periods. The effort supports determining whether a Buy Indian Act set-aside for ISBEEs/IEEs is practicable or whether a Total Small Business Set-Aside should be used.
