This notice is intended strictly for Market Research to determine if a 100% Set aside for Indian firms exist, pursuant to the negotiation authority of the Buy Indian Act, 25 USC. 47. or if there are set aside small business concerns which may be able to fulfill the requirements set forth in this request for information. The purpose of this notice is to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources and their size classification/socioeconomic status (Small Business Indian Firms or Small Business). This is a Request for Information only. This NOT a solicitation for proposal, proposal abstracts, or quotations. The Bemidji Area Indian Health Service is conducting Market Research to help determine the availability of the following item/service: NAICS: : 811210 Electronic and Precision Equipment Repair and Maintenance PSC: J065 Maintenance, Repair, and Rebuilding of Equipment- Medical, Dental, and Veterinary Equipment and Supplies A solicitation is not currently available, if a solicitation is issued, it will be announced on SAM.gov/Contract Opportunity website: http://www.sam.gov at a later date, and all interested parties must respond to the solicitation announcement separately from the responses to this announcement in order to be considered. Your responses to this request will assist the Government in determining the appropriate acquisition method, including whether a set-aside is appropriate. Interested parties are required to be registered and certified in the System for Award Management (SAM). https://www.sam.gov. Responses to this notice should include company name, address, point of contact, UEI number, NAICS size, and respond to the following questions: Are you an “Indian Economic Enterprise”, in accordance with 25 U.S.C. 47 the Buy Indian Act? Is your firm a small business and if so, is it a “small”, “veteran-owned”, women-owned, etc… Interested businesses are required to submit a Statement of Capabilities (SOC).
