Amendment 1 Q& A attachment 2 Posted - 3 March 2023 RFQ date extended to 17 March 2023 The primary purpose of this contract will be for the purchase of 2 each copier/printer/faxes for installation in Bemidji Indian Health Services, MN and provide subsequent annual service/maintenance/supplies and on-site technical support in accordance with the Scope of Work (SOW). Copier/printer/fax salient characteristics and subsequent service and supply requirements are identified within the SOW. (See attached for entire details) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial products or commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Amendment 1 Questions and Answers - Answers in Bold Question: For the hardware – both devices state “Similar to the Konica Minolta C6501i”, which is a color printer. Desire is to have one is color and one is black and white. Question: The 1st device requirement states “55 Color Pages per Minute, but the 2nd printer does not state any color. Can the 2nd device be a monochrome printer? Yes Question: The C6501i offers 65ppm output. Do you want to match that output speed or offer a printer that offers 55ppm? Similar speed to 65 ppm In Scope of Work – Major Duties it states “One of the devices should have stapling capabilities, but in both devices it shows Stapling Finisher Question: Can we respond adding only one stapling finisher to one printer? Yes Service and Supplies Contract Required for two printers The Indian Health Service, Bemidji Area Office has continued to allow workforce members to telework resulting in a smaller on?site workforce to attend to supplies needed for the printers. Therefore the IHS is seeking for each device to include initial equipment and supplies including all parts, labor, mileage, drums, toner, and developer (not including staples and paper) for the base year and 4 option years based on the current approximate usage of 9,500 Black and White copies per month and 4,800 color copies per month. Provide annual maintenance and support on products during normal business hours. Must be able to provide on?site technical support within 36 hours if system is not operational. Question: From the above statement, are you requesting supplies (not including staples and paper) be included for all 5 years, or only initial start-up supplies?
