THIS IS A COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION FOR COMMERCIAL SERVICES PREPARED UNDER THE AUTHORITY OF FEDERAL ACQUISITION REGULATIONS (FAR), PART 12, ACQUITION OF COMMERCIAL ITEMS IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE POLICIES AND PROCEDURES AT FAR PART 15, CONTRACTING BY NEGOTIATION AND AS SUPPLEMENTED WITH ADDITIONAL INFORMATION INCLUDED IN THIS NOTICE. THIS ANNOUNCEMENT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY SOLICITATION; PROPOSALS ARE BEING REQUSTED. All information required under FAR 5.207(a) is contained within the combined synopsis/solicitation posting and attached documentation. The Indian Health Service (IHS) intends to award a single firm-fixed–price (FFP) contract for M-21-31 Logging Resources Services. Pursuant to 48 CFR Part 326, Subpart 326.603-3 and IHM 5.5-6, Indian Health Service must use the negotiation authority of the Buy Indian Act, 25 U.S.C. 47, to give preference to Indian Economic Enterprises (IEE) whenever the use of that authority is authorized and practicable. This solicitation is issued as a 100% Small Business Set-aside for Indian Small Business Economic Enterprises (ISBEE) firms only. All small business vendors will be required to provide a completed Indian Health Service Buy Indian Act Indian Economic Enterprise Representation Form (included as attachment) to be considered for award.
