Whiteriver Hospital Construction
The Indian Health Service is soliciting bids for the construction of a new 407,000-square-foot hospital in Whiteriver, AZ, to replace the existing facility on the Fort Apache Indian Reservation. The project includes building two wastewater treatment plants, making improvements to a state highway and a tribal water treatment plant, and demolishing the existing hospital after the new one is operational. The contract is anticipated to commence in 2026, with a performance period of 1,095 calendar days from the Notice to Proceed. The estimated construction magnitude is between $500,000,000 and $600,000,000. Work will be performed at the existing hospital site at 200 W Hospital Dr, Whiteriver, AZ, and at additional locations for the wastewater treatment plants.
