This is a PRESOLICITATION NOTICE, Solicitation 75H701-21-R-00013 for the replacement of Automatic Transfer Switches (ATS) at Crow Agency, Montana, a construction project for the Indian Health Service (IHS), Division of Engineering Services. The Government anticipates releasing the solicitation on or about 3 February 2021 and will remain open for approximately 30 calendar days. The solicitation and all amendments for this Request for Proposal will be posted on https://beta.sam.gov/. A full scope of work, plans and specifications and Construction Wage Determination will be included in the solicitation documents. SCOPE OF WORK: The project involves replacing three existing Automatic Transfer Switches (ATS) and associated components for the backup power system at the Crow/Northern Cheyenne Hospital in Crow Agency, Montana. The ATS are near the end of their useful life and in need of replacement. The project will require some renovation of the generator room due to the required relocation of the ATS to meet code clearances. The ATS relocation will require modifications to the mechanical ventilation for the generators. The ATS system is to be replaced per the plans and specifications. LOCATION OF PROJECT: All work shall be performed on the grounds of the Crow/Northern Cheyenne Hospital, Crow Agency, Montana on the Crow Indian Reservation. CONSTRUCTION DURATION: Period of Performance is 90 calendar days from issuance of the Notice to Proceed. CONSTRUCTION MAGNITUDE: The magnitude of this construction project is anticipated to be between $250,000 and $500,000, in accordance with FAR 36.204(d).
