This is a PRESOLICITATION NOTICE, Solicitation 75H701-20-R-00060 for the replacement of the Boiler and Chiller at Lame Deer, Montana, a construction project for the Indian Health Service (IHS), Division of Engineering Services. The Government anticipates releasing the solicitation on or about 8 October 2020 and will remain open for approximately 30 calendar days. The solicitation and all amendments for this Request for Proposal will be posted on https://beta.sam.gov/. SCOPE OF WORK: The project is to replace the existing Boiler and Chiller System components due to the obsolescence of the existing system. The scope of work for the project includes: (1) Demolition of existing boiler and chiller system components; (2) Replacement of existing control unit(s) and system components required for compatibility with the existing Building Automation System (BAS); (3) Development of phased approach for the replacement so the existing systems remain in service until the new systems are installed, tested and operational; and (4) Development of Shop drawings. LOCATION OF PROJECT: All work shall be performed on the grounds of the Northern Cheyenne Health Center, Lame Deer, Montana on the Northern Cheyenne Indian Reservation. CONSTRUCTION DURATION: Period of Performance is 180 calendar days from issuance of the Notice to Proceed. CONSTRUCTION MAGNITUDE: The magnitude of this construction project is anticipated to be between $500,000 and $1,000,000, in accordance with FAR 36.204(e).
