This contract is for the procurement of one Bruker MALDI-TOF Biotyper Sirius one GP system to replace an obsolete instrument at the Moffett laboratory. The system is required to support the Endopep-MS assay, a high-throughput method for detecting botulinum neurotoxins that eliminates animal testing. This capability is critical for the laboratory's mission within the Laboratory Response Network and for maintaining public health readiness.
