Implantable Medical-Grade Primary Lithium Batteries
This opportunity requires the contractor to furnish 20 new, unused implantable medical-grade primary lithium batteries using Li/SVO-CFx chemistry, in two configurations of 10 units each: a high-rate type (rated capacity 1.70–1.90 Ah, stainless steel case) and a medium-rate type (rated capacity 4.80–5.00 Ah, titanium case). Each configuration has detailed electrical, dimensional, and performance specifications, including hermetic sealing, case polarity, approved terminal materials, and storage/operating temperature ranges. All 10 units of each configuration must come from the same manufacturing lot, and every battery must have at least two years of remaining shelf life from its date of manufacture at the time of delivery. The contractor must provide product documentation (including safety data sheets) at no extra charge, package per applicable DOT and IATA transportation regulations, mark lot numbers and manufacture dates on each package, and coordinate delivery logistics with the Government POC. The Government will accept the contractor's standard commercial warranty to the maximum extent practicable; these are passive supply items with no software or data functions.
