This is a NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT. This notice is being published in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 5.101(a)(6) requiring the dissemination of information on proposed contract actions. This is a notice of intent to award a sole-source contract, and is not a request for competitive proposals. The statutory authority for this sole-source procurement is FAR 13.106(b)(1), sole source (including brand name) and acquisitions of commercial items pursuant to FAR Subpart 13.5. The Food and Drug Administration, Office of Acquisitions and Grant Services (OAGS), 4041 Powder Mill Road, Adelphi, MD, intends to award a sole source, firm fixed price type purchase order to Brinkmann Instruments, Inc. doing business as Metrohm USA Inc, Cage Code 4VM74, located at 9250 Camden Field PKWY, Riverview, Florida 33578-0522 to provide the following: CLIN 0001: One (1) 12-month Service and Qualification Agreement for the existing Government owned Karl Fisher Titrator System according to the attached Statement of Work CLIN 0002: OPTION Period 1 for one (1) Service and Qualification Agreement for the existing Government owned Karl Fisher Titrator System according to the attached Statement of Work CLIN 0003: OPTION Period 2 for one (1) Service and Qualification Agreement for the existing Government owned Karl Fisher Titrator System according to the attached Statement of Work CLIN 0004: OPTION Period 3 for one (1) Service and Qualification Agreement for the existing Government owned Karl Fisher Titrator System according to the attached Statement of Work CLIN 0005: OPTION Period 4 for one (1) Service and Qualification Agreement for the existing Government owned Karl Fisher Titrator System according to the attached Statement of Work The associated North America Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 334516 and the Business Size Standard is 1,000. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. A determination not to compete this requirement, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government. Interested parties shall identify their interest and capability no later than 4:00 PM Eastern Standard Time (EST) 07/29/2021.
