The Food and Drug Administration’s (FDA) Pacific Northwest Laboratory (PNL) conducts research in and analyses of human and animal food to support FDA’s mission of protecting the American public health. To accomplish PNL’s workplan goals and congressional mandates, PNL requires commercially available consumable high purity and high-quality laboratory grade compressed gases, related gas products such as dry ice, and liquid nitrogen to prepare regulatory samples and to operate laboratory scientific instruments. The results generated from the regulatory samples will be evaluated and used by the agency to implement regulatory actions and accomplish its mission. PNL is seeking an indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract to provide and deliver laboratory grade high purity and high-quality compressed gases in gas cylinders, dry ice, and bulk liquid nitrogen in regularly scheduled intervals, as well as on demand orders in order for PNL to continue its laboratory and research operation to support FDA’s mission.
