The Food and Drug Administration (FDA), the Office of Acquisitions and Grants Services (OAGS) intends to inform the public that the FDA anticipates issuing an award for the purchase of follow-on core support services to provide the nutrient requirements for animals used in biomedical research and economically important domestic animals. It, also, identifies and addresses emerging concepts and other issues in the field of animal nutrition. The Period of Performance includes a one-year Base Period and 4 annual Option Periods. The reports are used to establish nutrient requirements of animals in the United States and throughout the world and assist Federal agencies in various types of regulatory decisions. The reports provide guidance to the FDA and to feed manufacturers and other entities that must meet FDA regulations.
