FY26-27 Pediatric Covid-19 Vaccines
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) intends to award one or more Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (ID/IQ) contracts to manufacturers for the purchase of standard commercial pediatric vaccines. The primary purpose is to procure vaccines for the 2026-2027 season, with a requirement to also purchase for the 2025-2026 season before the 2026-2027 vaccine is available. These contracts will utilize VFC and Section 317 funds to obtain vaccines at prices below the commercial market, and awardees may also sell additional quantities to states for non-federally eligible children. The vaccines are for the national Vaccine for Children (VFC) program, which supplies free vaccine to states for eligible children, including those who are Medicaid-eligible, uninsured, American Indian/Alaska Native, or underinsured receiving care at qualified health centers. Offerors must be manufacturers of pediatric vaccines as defined by statute.
