The CDC's Global Health Center intends to award a sole source firm-fixed-price contract to the American Association for Laboratory Accreditation (A2LA). The contract is for accreditation of the International Laboratory Branch to ISO/IEC 17025:2017, ISO/IEC 17043:2023, and ISO/IEC 15189:2022 standards. This accreditation provides independent validation that the laboratories follow documented procedures and international quality standards. A2LA is identified as the only source capable of meeting the requirements, and no solicitation will be published.
