The solicitation number is 75D30124Q77701 BIO-RAD Maintenance is issued as an open market Request for Quote (RFQ) with only one known service provider; crux of special notice. This RFQ document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2024-03 (FEB 2024). The Division of Parasitic Diseases and Malaria (DPDM), Entomology Branch (EB) has multiple polymerase chain reaction (PCR) systems and a Bio-Plex 200 system that require an annual preventative and on-site maintenance contracts. This contract provides assurances that the equipment operates at optimum levels and prevents degradation in results. Bio-Rad Laboratories has an extensive history of providing service to the specific equipment used by EB ensuring continuity of results. This will be the only public notice for this requirement. The NAICS for this requirement is 334513 and the small business size standard is 750 employees. The services to be performed by this contract are for the repair and maintain Government-owned or controlled instruments. The services are comprised of tasks outlined in the subject and attached RFQ.
