This is not a request for competitive proposals/quotes. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) hereby announces its intent to issue a sole source order to Merative US L.P. 1 LETTERMAN DRIVE, BUILDING C, SUITE 410, SAN FRANCISCO, CA 94129 USA for MarketScan Research Databases.. The NAICS code for this acquisition is 541512 Computer System Design Services ***** Description The Government needs a license to access Merative’s MarketScan Research Databases. The Merative MarketScan Research Databases include individual-level, de-identified, healthcare claims information from employers, health plans, hospitals, and Medicare and Medicaid programs. These proprietary databases contain the oldest and largest collection of privately and publicly insured, de-identified patient data in the United States, with more than 120+ contributing health plans, and more than 273 million covered lives since 1995. The MarketScan Research Databases individual-level commerical, Medicaid, and Medicare healthcare claims, health and productivity management, laboratory results, and health risk assessment data are linkable at the patient level using masked identifiers. These data capture real-world treatment patterns and costs by tracking information on millions of patients as they navigate the healthcare system. Period of Performance Base: Twelve (12) Months Option 1: Twelve (12) Months Option 2: Twelve (12) Months ***** A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed action will be based on responses to this notice and is solely in the discretion of the Contracting Officer. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. All vendors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) at www.sam.gov , prior to an award of a federal contract. This action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 and 41 U.S.C 3304(a)(1). Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit quotations. This is not a request for competitive quotations; however, the Government will review any/all product, capabilities, and pricing information submitted prior to the closure of this notice. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Responsible sources that believe they possess the expertise and capabilities identified above are hereby afforded the opportunity to submit to the Contracting Officer within 10 days from the posting date of this notice, their written capabilities statement and pricing information in the format they choose, not to exceed 10 pages.
