This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Requirements (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested, and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number for this requirement is 75D30121Q74030 and is hereby issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ) using FAR Subpart 13.1 Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention intends to award a firm-fixed-price contract for the subject requirement. Offerors must fill in the dollar amounts in the attached list of line items or provide a separate excel spreadsheet containing the same information including a list of line-item number(s) and items, quantities, units of measure, and options, if applicable: All work shall be performed in accordance with the attached Statement of Work (SOW) 52.212-1 Instruction to Offerors-Commercial Items (Jul 2021) provides instruction for offerors to submit quotes for this requirement. Of particular note, quotes must include the following: Total Price for CLIN 0001, 0002 (Option Year 1), 0003 (Option Year 2, 0004 (Option Year 3), and 0005 (Option Year 4) A technical description of the items being offered in sufficient detail to evaluate compliance with the requirements in the solicitation. In addition, the following instructions are given with regard to price: For task 1, provision of software platform licenses, offerors shall provide appropriate data on the prices at which the same or similar items have been sold previously, adequate for evaluating the reasonableness of the price. For task 2, Analytical Support, the CDC expects inclusion of this cost in the fixed price of the order. However the CDC will consider alternative pricing quotes from offerors for analytical support services. Alternative pricing for task 2 could include a separate Labor Hour Line item (52.212-4 Alt. I). For labor involved in task 2, Offerrors shall provide pricing detail to include components of cost comprising the fixed price quoted. Details should include type of labor (description of labor categories/positions), quantity of labor (number of hours), and cost of labor.
