This notices makes available a justification and approval for other than full and open competition (JOFOC) that applies to these contracts. Contract Numbers: 75D30120D07116, 75D30120D07117 Under the authority of FAR 6.302-2, Unusual and compelling urgency, these contracts will be modified to support the purchase of additional inactivated influenza vaccine (IIV) and live attenuated influenza vaccine (LAIV) for children and adults in light of the current COVID-19 outbreak. Undertaking a campaign to significantly increase influenza vaccinations during the 2020/2021 influenza season is an additional step to help mitigate impacts on the healthcare system to allow focus on COVID-19. The attached JOFOC is being made available within 30 days of the first modification made under its authority in accordance with FAR 6.305 and will remain active for 30 days. The first contract modification related to this JOFOC was made on June 16, 2020. Additional contract modifications have and will continue to be made as necessary to support the purchase of additional vaccines up to the dollar value ceiling provided in the JOFOC.
