CDC/NIOSH intends to acquire a complete four-channel Acoustic Emission (AE) testing system for coal mine roof safety, including data acquisition, RMS-capable signal conditioners, AE sensors, software/licenses, cables, and related components. The acquisition is intended as a sole-source award to MISTRAS Group, Inc., as market research identified it as the only known source capable of providing the required complete integrated system. Delivery is required within 60 calendar days after award to the NIOSH Pittsburgh Mining Research Division in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The solicitation is posted to SAM.gov, and responsible sources may submit a quotation for consideration in accordance with the RFQ instructions.
