Notice of Intent to Sole Source: The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention intends to award a sole source purchase order to Bioniquest Lab Services, Inc. Justification of the capability required is provided on the sole source justification document. This contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b) (SAP) and 41 U.S.C. 3304(a)(1).. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Any quotation/response should be emailed to contract specialist at ehu0@cdc.gov. Purpose: The purpose of this procurement is to obtain equipment maintenance agreement of 4 System Gold Beckman HPLC systems and 2 Beckman Pace MDQ Capillary System. Contractor will provide full maintenance support within 48 hours and telephone support. 1. Provide equipment maintenance of all 4 Beckman HPLC systems and 2 Beckman PACE MDQ Capillary systems. 2. Provide all labor, travel, and parts with unlimited breakdown calls included 3. Provide one scheduled Preventative Maintenance visit per year which includes a full system diagnostic using software and critical parts exchanged 4. Priority response for all breakdown calls All computers need to be covered along with 32 KARAT software for HPLC and MDQ systems. The parts including check valves and computer boards for communication also need to be covered for the HPLC systems. The parts for MDQ including interface assay and computer boards for communication need to be covered. Detector needs to be covered along with fan and power supply.
