The purpose of this notice is to obtain information regarding: (1) the availability sources; (2) whether they are small businesses; HUBZone small businesses; service-disabled, veteran-owned small businesses; 8(a) small businesses; veteran-owned small businesses; woman-owned small businesses; or small disadvantaged businesses; and (3) their size classification relative to the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for the proposed acquisition. Your responses to the information requested will assist the Government in determining the appropriate acquisition method, including whether a set-aside is possible. The applicable NAICS code is 238990 with a size standard of $16.5 Million. Building 401 on the Fort Collins Campus has not had a reliable motorized shade system installed to date. There are two different motorized shade systems on two different floors, and both have failed. This project has been approved so that a better, more efficient, and functional motorized shade system can be installed. CDC has a requirement for a vendor to design, demolish, and install a new motorized shade. This includes all necessary component to make the system functional such as electrical, control panels, switch pads, etc. Please answer the following question to demonstrate capability and provide market insight: 1. Does your firm have technical expertise in designing and installing motorized shade systems? 2. Does your firm manufacture shades? 3. Are the firm's shades and associated equipment manufactured in the United States? 4. Is your firm a small business in the applicable NAICS code?
