This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), National Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH), The National Personal Protection Technology Laboratory (NPPTL), has a requirement for “Transition PPE Conformity Assessment Practices to Align with the National Framework Conformity Assessment.” PLEASE SEE THE ATTACHMENTS FOR DETAILED STATEMENT OF WORK/ SPECIFICATIONS/ REQUIREMENTS OF THIS RFP. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This combined synopsis/solicitation is being issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ) under solicitation number 75D301-21-R-71799 using FAR Subpart 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. Any incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2021-05, effective March 10, 2021. This requirement is solicited as FULL and OPEN COMPETITION NAICS code 541690– Other Scientific and Technical Consulting Services with a small business size standard of $16.5 Million. The CDC intends to award a single award firm fixed priced contract with a base period of two years and one (1) optional line item. The government reserves the right to award any, all, or none of the options under this requirement. Please refer to attached document for clauses and provisions applicable to this acquisition. The provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors -- Commercial, applies to this acquisition and a statement regarding any addenda to the provision. This award will be made to the offer under the conditions found in FAR 52.212-2 Evaluation of Commercial Items. Offerors must include FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications, with the offer or indicate if the offeror's Representations and Certifications are available online at SAM.gov.
