The purpose of this request is to purchase the SteraMist full room fogger Environmental System to support and improve the performance of OLSS’s decontamination service. The SteraMist fogger will be used as an alternative to the current Spray Method and will allow OLSS to provide the CDC laboratory community decontamination validation data that will meet regulatory and new Laboratory Quality Management Policy requirements. The biological safety has antiquated decontamination equipment that needs to be upgraded to newer technology. This would enable the biological safety team to provide more efficient decontamination services to the laboratories throughout CDC.
