This is a request for information. It is not a solicitation for proposals, proposal abstracts, or quotations. Release of this information should not be construed as a commitment to procure items discussed or to incur costs for which reimbursement would be required or sought. The purpose of this notice is to acquire information from the industry about commercially available Managed File Transfer (MFT) or MFT class of products that can provide a comprehensive set of functionalities (out of the box or configurable) to meet Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) Enterprise Data Transport needs. CDC desires to modernize its existing decade old public health data transport solution capabilities (i.e. Public Health Network Messaging System (PHINMS)) and is looking for an alternative solution based on mainstream technologies and industry-standard approaches that meets the needs of the broader CDC and public health community. The desired MFT solution should not be just a public health-specific solution, but also meet the general CDC use cases. CDC requires industry to provide written responses on how their proposed MFT solution can meet the comprehensive set of the requirements and capabilities as described in the attachment titled, ‘CDC_Enterprise_Transport_Capabilities_and_Requirements’ as an (1) Out of box with no or limited configuration, (2) Require advanced configuration and customization of software or integration with other solution, or (3) Capability cannot be supported. See attached word document for additional details and instructions. CDC Responses to Questions Posted on November 22, 2019 Responses Due By: December 16, 2019 at 9:00 AM EST
