A solicitation will be issued to provide the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) with a contract to make upgrades to selected battery rooms on the Chamblee and Lawrenceville campuses. ESTIMATED PRICE RANGE: Between $250,000 and $500,000 A pre-proposal meeting date and location is noted in the solicitation. CDC intends to issue a single award as a result of solicitation 75D301-20-R-67846. It is anticipated that the resulting Firm Fixed Price contract will have a period of perfomance of 180 days after the notice to proceed is issued. Request for Proposal (RFP), 75D301-20-R-67846, will be posted on www.beta.sam.gov. Any amendments issued to the soliciation will also be made at the same website. This is set-aside as a HUBZone competitive requirement and as such is limited to eligible HUBZone concerns. The NAICS Codes for this proposed procurement are 236220 - Commercial and Institutional Building Construction. All responsible HUBZone sources may submit a proposal, which shall be considered by the agency. This procurement is a HUBZone set-aside. Responsible HUBZone small business sources may submit an offer that will be considered. The small business size standard for NAICS 236220 is $36.5 million. HUBZone firms must be certified in accordance with solicitation clause, FAR 52.219-8-Utilization of Small Business Concerns. It is the policy of the government to provide maximum practicable opportunities in its acquisitions to small business, veteran-owned small business, small disadvantaged business, and women-owned small business concerns. Such concerns must also have the maximum practicable opportunity to participate as subcontractors in the contracts awarded by any executive agency, consistent with efficient contract performance.
