The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention intends to award a sole source HUBzone using a JOFOC for a firm fixed price purchase order to Clear Vantage Point Solutions (CVPS). The purpose of this contract is to obtain support for NCCDPHP’s Informatics and public health information and data systems development activities and ensure that these are: • Effectively, efficiently and collaboratively managed • Consistent with CDC’s IT investment policies and frameworks • Responsive and relevant to diverse NCCDPHP and other CDC program mission needs and requirements • Strategically anticipatory to ensure effective use of current and emerging technologies and methods • Innovative and cost-effective • Supportive of ongoing maintenance and operations The scope of this contract is for contractor support services such as: technical support and consultation for IT applications development, data management and analysis, and information services across the portfolio of applications for the purpose of providing high quality and reliable software and systems. The CRM system used for the AMP project has the capability to automatically recommend answers for frequently asked questions to the clients. Based on alternative analysis previously conducted by our Center, Salesforce is the only cloud-based CRM system that has this capability. This procurement is to extend licenses for another year to support 8 divisions and the OD within NCCDPHP. We attend to use 48 CFR 6.302 5(b)(5) Sole source awards under the HUBZone Act of 1997. This contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of 6.302-1 and 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1). Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations; however, all quotations/responses received within fifteen (15) days of the issuance of this notice will be considered by the government. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
