The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) intends to issue a sole source purchase order to WebMD Health Corp., 395 Hudson St Fl 3, New York, NY 10014. The purpose of this acquisition is to develop a Continuing Medical Education CME) for healthcare professionals to increase awareness of the potential risk if IMIs (invasive mold infections) among immunocompromised patients in a post-flood setting and to provide IMI prevention messaging from WebMD Health Corp.: This research project will provide all necessary services, qualified, personnel, material, equipment, and facilities to develop and produce an online CME course on IMI in post-flood settings. In accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1 – Only one responsible source and no other supplies will satisfy agency requirements. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 519130 internet Publishing and Broadcasting and Web Search Portals. This is a notice of intent and not a request for competitive quotations. No solicitation will be posted on the Federal Business Opportunity website. However, all interested parties who believe they can meet the requirement may submit their capability/qualifications and other supporting information to Priscilla Turner at PBTurner@cdc.gov on or before August 19, 2020 at 9:00 AM Eastern Time. All information received on or before Wednesday, August 18, 2020 at 9:00 AM Eastern Time of this notice will be considered by the Government to determine if the more than one firm can meet the Government's requirements and is capable of providing technically acceptable services. A determination not to compete the described requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Federal Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement.
