Transportation and Logistics Readiness Services - The vendor shall provide transportation bulk freight services 24 hours per day 7 days per week 365/366 days per year to transport SNS assets throughout the 50 United States, the U.S. Territories and other international interests, in the event of a national emergency or crisis. SNS has contracted for numerous medical/ pharmaceutical supplies to be delivered in the event of an emergency such as a terrorist attack, which could consist of a variety of incidents, including but not limited to biological / chemical/ nuclear attacks /outbreaks and all-natural and manmade disaster, as well as humanitarian mission support.
