As a result of this amendment, the proposal submission due date is extended. All proposals are due no later than 5:00PM ET on Wednesday, 3 March 2021. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only synopsis and solicitation. This combined synopsis/solicitation is a "request for proposal (RFP)." Proposals are being requested and no other solicitation document will be issued. The Office of the Assistant Secretary for Preparedness and Response (ASPR), a public health preparedness and emergency response organization, in the Office of the Secretary at the United States Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) is seeking Professional Administrative Staffing Support Services. These services are being requested for a period of performance as follows: Base – 12 months Option Period I – 12 months Option Period II – 12 months Pursuant to FAR Clause 52.217-8 Option to Extend Services and FAR 52.217-9 Option to Extend the Term of the Contract, the Government may, by unilateral contract modification, require the Offeror to perform the Option Period (s) specified in this solicitation. If the Government exercises these options(s), notice must be given before the expiration date of the contract. Specific information regarding the time frame for this notice is set forth in the OPTION PROVISION of this solicitation. As a result of this solicitation the Government anticipates awarding a multiple award Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract as contemplated by FAR 16.504. This will be a hybrid of Firm Fixed Priced (FFP) and Labor Hour (LH) Task Orders. The total minimum of services will be $2,500, not to exceed a maximum contract ceiling to be determined at time of award. All preproposal questions for this synopsis/solicitation shall be submitted via electronic mail (e-mail) ONLY and are due no later than 4:00PM ET on Thursday, 4 February 2021.
