The Department of Health and Human Services (HHS)/the Assistant Secretary for Preparedness and Response (ASPR), the Division of the Strategic National Stockpile (SNS) has a need to replace its current temperature monitoring and alert system in accordance with the guidelines of the attached solicitation. In particular, the Government is seeking replacement of the old system with a new system (and all associated hardware and software), continued WIFI support, continued 24/7 customer support, and continued monitoring and maintenance of the new system. For further information, including how to submit a proposal, plese see the attached solicitation. The Government will allow questions in response to this solicitation. All questions should be submitted electroncially to the Contracting Officer at caleb.owen@hhs.gov by no later than 5:00 PM Eastern Time on Friday May 8, 2020. The Government will review all questions received by the deadline and post responses as an amendment to this solicitation by no later than May 15, 2020. This posting is hereby amended to allow the Government additional time to post the answers to the questions received. This additional time is needed due to the large volume of questions received. Responses will be posted by No Later Than Wednesday, May 20th. Accordingly, the deadline for proposal submission is also extended to Wednesday, June 3rd. This posting is hereby amended on May 20th to a.) post the responses to the questions received, b.) post a revised solicitation, and c.) post pictures that are illustrative of the containers the vendor will be monitoring under this award (via attached PowerPoint). Please note FAR 52.219-14 Limitations on Subcontracting is applicable to this solicitation, but was inadvertantly not included in the initial solicitation. It has been added to the revised solicitation. The deadline for proposals remains June 3rd, 2020 at 5:00 PM Eastern Time. This posting is hereby amended on May 28th, 2020 to allow for a second round of questions and answers. All questions must be received by the Government by no later than 5:00 PM Eastern Time on Wednesday, June 3rd. Responses will be posted by end of the day on Friday, June 5th. The deadline for proposals is hereby extended to 5:00 PM Eastern on Friday June 12th, 2020. This is the final round of questions. Any questions received after this deadline will not be considered. There will be no further extension of the proposal deadline. This posting is hereby amended on 6/5/2020 to post the second round of questions and answers and a final, revised solicitation correcting the inadvertant numbering errors in the previous solicitation. The deadline for proposals remains 5:00 PM Eastern on Friday June 12th, 2020.
