The Department of Health and Human Sevices/the Assistant Secretary for Preparedness and Response has a need for a large number of medical supplies to restock the caches of the Strategic National Stockpile (SNS). These supplies are to be provided over the course of the next five years in accordance with the schedule in the attached solicitation. The requested supplies are: 1. IV catheter/needle, 18G x 1 1/4", Straight Hub, Radiopaque (Optimal Product # 4251687-02 or equivalent) 2. Sodium Chloride for inj. 0.9 100ml flexi-bag (NDC # 0338-0049-18 or equivalent) 3. Alcohol pads, Sterile, isopropyl, 70% alcohol 1 7/16" x 1 1/4" (Covidien product # 5750 or equivalent) 4. Lactated Ringers Injection 1000ml (NDC # 00338- 0117-04 or equivalent) 5. Dextrose 5 NACL .45Injection 1000ml. (NDC # 00338-0085-04 or equivalent) Please see the attached soliciation document for specifics as to quantities and requested devliery schedule. Exact delivery locations will be made known to the selected offeror(s) after award. Any questions related to this solicitation should be submitted to Caleb Owen, Contract Specialist, at caleb.owen@hhs.gov no later than 5 PM Eastern Time on Wednesday, January 15th. Answers will be posted via an amendment to this solicitation the following week. This solicitation is hereby amended on 1/24/2020 to add an amendment, Q&A, and extend the time for responses. The purpose of the amendment is to update the NDC for Sodium Chloride for Inj. 0.9 100ml flexibag from 00338-0553-18 to 0338-0049-18, to add shelf life information to the technical requirements, and to change the business proposal evaluation from lowest cost to best value to the Government. The deadline for responses is hereby extended to 5:00 PM Eastern Time on February 10th, 2020. This solicitation is hereby amended a second time on 1/28/2020 to allow for interested vendors to submit further questions. Questions should still be sent via email to caleb.owen@hhs.gov. The new deadline for questions is 12 PM Eastern Time on Friday, January 31st. This will be the final opportunity for submission of questions. The deadline for responses remains 5:00 PM Eastern Time on February 10th, 2020. If you have already submitted a response and wish to submit a revised response, you may do so up until this time. This solicitation is hereby amended a third time on 02/04/2020 to post a second round of responses to vendor questions. The deadline for vendor responses remains 5:00 PM Eastern Time on February 10th, 2020. This solicitation is hereby amended on July 14, 2020 to inform all offerors that HHS/ASPR will not be moving forward with an award this fiscal year. The office's priorities have shifted due to the COVID-19 response. Some of these products may be included in future ASPR solicitations, but there is no plan to re-solicit this specific combination of products at this time.
