This is a PRESOLICITATION NOTICE, Solicitation 75H701-22-R-00022 for the Rosebud Penthouse Mechanical work in Rosebud, SD, a construction project for the Indian Health Service (IHS), Division of Engineering Services. The Government anticipates releasing the solicitation on or about 15 March 2022 and will remain open for approximately 30 calendar days. The solicitation and all amendments for this Request for Proposal (RFP) will be posted on https://sam.gov/. A full scope of work, plans and specifications and Construction Wage Determination will be included in the solicitation documents. This requirement is a total Indian Small Business Economic Enterprise (ISBEE) set-aside and the associated NAICS is 2383220 – Plumbing, Heating, and Air-Conditioning Contractors, with small business size standard of 16.5 Million. Non-ISBEE or Indian Small Business Firm offerors will not be considered for the award unless more than two fair and reasonable ISBEE offers are not received. In the case that more than two ISBEE offers are not received, then Indian Economic Enterprises (IEE) receive next priority. SCOPE OF WORK: The general scope of work for this project is to demolish and install larger chilled water piping at 4 air handlers. Demolition and re-piping of the condenser drain system will also be required. Raising the existing cooling coils and corresponding drain pans will also be necessary for providing deeper condensate drain traps. LOCATION OF PROJECT: All work shall be performed on the grounds of the Rosebud Comprehensive Health Care Center, Rosebud, South Dakota. TERO: TERO is applicable. CONSTRUCTION DURATION: Period of Performance is 180 calendar days from issuance of the Notice to Proceed. CONSTRUCTION MAGNITUDE: The magnitude of this construction project is anticipated to be between $100,000 and $250,000, in accordance with FAR 36.204(g). SITE VISIT: Details regarding the Site Visit will be included in the solicitation. NOTE: ALL DATES ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE.
