Specifics: Instrument must be a MALDI-TOF Mass Spectrometer Instrument must be benchtop; specifically, it must fit in a space which is no higher than 44 inches and no wider than 28 inches. Instrument must analyze in both positive and negative ion modes. Instrument must have a self-cleaning source to minimize instrument down time. Instrument must be quiet (no noisy oil-based vacuum pumps) Instrument must be repaired by in-lab, factory-trained service engineers for quality purposes. Instrument must be compatible with software to allow for micro-organism identification through a process which is FDA approved.
