The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention intends to modify a firm fixed price purchase order with Hispanic Federation Inc., for outreach and education services on a sole source basis. Hispanic Federation Inc., is one of four outreach and education contractors that has been working with the members of the World Trade Center Health Program (WTCHP) for the past three years under contract no. 75D30118C03549. WTCHP currently has outreach events scheduled for this upcoming month of September. An extension to Hispanic Federation Inc., will allow the incumbent to finish conducting vital outreach to the responder population of WTCHP and provide the necessary time to close out final reports and transfer of data to the program. This contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b) (SAP) and 41 U.S.C. 3304(a)(1). Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations; however, all responses received within seven (7) days of the issuance of this notice will be considered by the government. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Any quotation/response should be emailed to contract specialist at qst7@cdc.gov by COB 2 August 2021.
