The software developed by STC has serious limitations on its use and its source codes. The source codes are virtually a secret not to be shared with others. STC software is a closed source application, the developer will not share/provide the source code with anyone that is not in the organization. This proprietary software will remain the property STC (owner/developer). Without the release (source code) of the proprietary information, competitors will be prohibited by the following: 1) STC does not offer license agreements for competitors, 2) STC will not grant access to their source code, 3) STC will not allow modifications or enhancements by others, 4) STC software is not an open source application.
