THIS ANNOUNCEMENT IS NOT A SOLICITATION AND IS BEING USED FOR THE PURPOSE OF MARKET RESEARCH ONLY. Subject: Surveying, Engineering Technician, and Construction Inspection Services Proposed NAICS Code: 541370 Surveying and Mapping (except Geophysical) Services SBA Size Standard: $19 Million Dollars Description: Indian Health Service (IHS) Nashville Area Office intends to solicit and award a single fixed-price contract to provide Surveying and Engineering Technician Support Services for projects in the Northern District of the Nashville Area Indian Health Service. These services will include surveying services, site investigation, soil investigation and percolation testing services, drafting services to support engineering design work, and construction inspection support. Additional services may include technical assistance in preparation of construction plans and specifications and preparation of reports. The Government is seeking input to determine the availability vendors who meets the definition of an “Indian Economic Enterprise” (HHSAR 326.601), and also/or sources that meet the small business size standards under the associated NAICS. Surveying Services: Conduct geo-referenced surveys for proposed community water and wastewater systems to develop alignments Conduct geo-referenced surveys for proposed onsite water and wastewater systems Conduct geo-referenced surveys for record drawing development Download and process survey data to input into Computer Aided Drawing (CAD) software Engineering Technician Services: Design of individual water and wastewater facilities Soil Survey and/or Percolation Testing for the design of individual wastewater System Draft construction plans, details, record drawings, composite system drawings and rights-of-way maps using Computer Aided Drawing (CAD) software. All work must comply with IHS drafting standards. Inspect construction performed by construction contractors; ensure that all work is performed in accordance with the approved plans and specifications. Provide preliminary site evaluations of proposed individual sites and provide inspection of failed onsite wastewater facilities. Prepare documents required by the State for onsite systems. Construction Inspection Services Inspect construction performed by construction contractors; ensure that all work is performed in accordance with the approved plans and specifications. Place of Contract Performance: New York Solicitation Date: The pre-solicitation is expected to be posted 15 days after the date of this notice. Award and Duration: 12 Month Base Year with, Four (4), 12 Month Option Years.
