If proposed wage rates exceed the applicable WD, quotes/proposals must include sufficient information and documentation that supports a fair and reasonable determination. Interested offferors can submit the hourly rate prices to be paid for the position of Pharmacy Technician and any other position(s), if applicable in order to determine price fair and reasonable. 2-28-2025: See additional information added. If a Pharmacy Technician will be fulfilling the prescription, then the WAGE DETERMINATIONS WOULD APPLY. AND If a PHARMACIST will be fulfiling the prescriptions, then the Wage Determinations WOULD NOT APPLY as the PHARMACIST is EXEMPT. 1-29-2025. Wage determinations have previously been uploaded for this requirement for each location that this requirement will service. The service contract act does apply to the covered position pharmacy technician and it is applicable. The pharmacist wasn’t a covered position by the Service Contract Labor Standards Statute so there is not wage determination for this position. This is a commercial item requirement. FAR Part 22.10: Subpart 22.10 - Service Contract Labor Standards | Acquisition.GOV . Specifically, 22.10002-1 and 22.1002-2 show it to be covered under the service contract act. The Purpose of this acquisition is to enter into a maximum of two firm fixed price requirements contract for the Nashville Area Office to provide retail pharmaceutical prescriptions throughout the Nashville Area service area.
