The hub will provide acceleration services, product development support, and validation capabilities for diagnostics and medical devices, with a focus on pathogen-agnostic detection and point-of-care or at-home settings. It must also build a rapid emergency response infrastructure for public health emergencies. The hub can operate independently or as a consortium, with one prime awardee entering into an Other Transaction Agreement.
