The National Institutes of Health Clinical Center intends to award a sole-source, firm-fixed-price contract to MaxCyte, Inc. for the purchase of an ExPERT GTx Electroporation Device and associated installation/operational qualification services. The services will be performed at the NIH Clinical Center in Bethesda, MD. This acquisition is necessary to replace an unsupported system and maintain continuity of clinical manufacturing protocols for cell-based therapies. The justification is that MaxCyte is the sole manufacturer and provider of this specific platform and the required validation services.
