This is a notice of intent to award a sole-source, firm-fixed-price contract to Thermo Fisher Scientific for a preventative maintenance agreement on 50 specific incubators. The services will be performed at the National Institutes of Health Clinical Center in Bethesda, MD. The award is intended because Thermo Fisher is deemed the only vendor capable of providing the required manufacturer-authorized services, software updates, and validation necessary for regulatory compliance. While not a solicitation, interested parties may submit a capability statement to demonstrate equivalent service ability. The Government will evaluate any responses but maintains the discretion to proceed with the sole-source award.
