Notice of Intent to Sole Source to Werfen USA LLC for the lease of two ACL Top 750 Systems
This is a notice of intent to award a sole-source, firm-fixed-price purchase order to Werfen USA LLC for a one-year lease of two ACL Top 750 coagulation analyzer systems. The purpose is to continue the existing lease for systems used within the NIH's Hematology Service in Bethesda, MD. The period of performance is from March 12, 2026, to March 11, 2027. The total value of this requirement will not exceed the Simplified Acquisition Threshold of $250,000. The justification for a non-competitive award is that Werfen is stated to be the sole manufacturer of the required consumables for the existing analyzers.
