This Sources Sought Notice (SSN) is for market research, information, and planning purposes only and shall not be construed as a solicitation or as an obligation on the part of the United States Government, the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), nor National Institutes of Health, Clinical Center (NIH-CC). This SSN is being issued by the NIH-CC and is seeking sources for the following: The NIH has a need to acquire Patient Hotel Room Accommodations for patients and/or family members/guardians. These hotel facilities must be conveniently located within a ten (10) mile radius to the NIH CC, located at 10 Center Drive, Bethesda, Maryland 20892 to accommodate the need for patients/family members/guardians to travel to and from the NIH CC. This distance factors in accessibility to public transportation, distance, traffic, and travel time. See attached Draft Statement of Work for specifics pertaining to Project Deliverables. This SSN is not a request for competitive proposals and no solicitation document exists for the requirement. Sources interested in responding to this notice are required to submit a capability statement that includes sufficient detail and with convincing evidence that clearly demonstrates the capability to perform the required work. Capability statements shall not exceed five (8.5 x 11 inch) pages using a font size no smaller than 10-point. The Government will consider all capability statements received by the due date of this notice. A request for documentation or additional information or submissions that only ask questions will not be considered as an affirmative response. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of planning and determining competitive procurement procedure based on the available sources. Capability statements are due by 5:00PM Eastern Daylight Time (EDT), May 22, 2024.
