Description: This is a notice of intent, not a request for a quotation. A solicitation document will not be issued, and quotations will not be requested. The Department of Laboratory Medicine serves as the clinical laboratory of the NIH Clinical Center. It provides laboratory support for patient care and research protocols and performs research and training in disciplines of Clinical Pathology. Line Items: Description Quantity 1002137 Freight charges1 1 937556 QIAsymphony DSP Circulating DNA Kit 6 990382 Sample Tubes CB (2ml) 4 997024 Filter-Tips, 1500 µl (1024) 8 Purpose: A significant increase in circulating cell-free donor-derived DNA can be detected up to five months before acute rejection can be diagnosed an invasive biopsy. To determine donor-derived DNA, the genotyping procedure is essential. Laboratory of Applied Precision Omics on the potential uses of cell free DNA technology requires the use of QIAGEN’s high throughput automation process on the QiaSymphony SP, 34311 with the DSP Circulating DNA kit to isolate nucleic acids Scope of Work: Next generation sequencing of cell-free DNA, genomic DNA, and mitochondrial DNA are among the nucleic acids of interest which are required for answering the primary and secondary endpoints of the Genome Transplant Dynamics study. Numerous intramural investigators have contacted the Laboratory of Transplantation Genomics regarding a mutual interest in investigating questions surrounding detection, diagnosis, and clinical utility of solid and liquid organ transplant rejection alike. The laboratory of applied precision omics requires the purchase of Qiagen’s QIAsymphony DSP Circulation DNA Kit for processing patient samples by epMotion 5075 to automate the process of NGS library construction for 5 extramural-site research protocol which targets heart and lung transplant recipients. To determine cell-free DNA to risk stratify patients for severe COVID-19 and donor-derived DNA, the genotyping procedure and qualification of DNA is essential for high throughput automation of NGS library, and sensitive for cell free DNA.
