Title Bionano Reagents for the Department of Laboratory Medicine at the NIH Clinical Center Product Service Code: 6550 NAICS Code: 325413 Place of Performance: Bethesda, MD 20892 USA POTS: 24-004215 Description This is a notice of intent, NOT a request for a quotation. A solicitation document will NOT be issued, and quotations will NOT be requested. The National Institutes of Health (NIH) intends to award a firm fixed price purchase order to Bionano Genomics Incorporated of San Diego, California 92121. The purpose of this acquisition is to purchase testing reagents for patient samples. Bionano reagents are used to perform optical genome mapping of patient samples utilizing instrumentation from Bionano to accomplish the following: Optical genome mapping of patient samples Detecting chromosomal and cytogenetic abnormalities that might be missed by other SOC technologies such as cytogenetics, FISH, or NGS Below are the items required for this action: Catalog # Description Quantity 90146 Bionano Prep SP-G2 BMA 12 Bundle 10 80069 Saphyr Chip Clip, G3.3 1 90179 Saphyr Compute Server, Gen4 Rental 1 90075 Saphyr System Rental 6 months 1 90144 Second Generation Saphyr Qualification Kit 1 90150 User Training Kit: Bionano Prep 1 Shipping The proposed vendor, Bionano Genomics Incorporated, is the sole manufacturer of these reagent kits. This acquisition is being conducted using policies unique to the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13 – Simplified Acquisition Procedures, Subpart 13.106-1(b)(1), For purchases not exceeding the simplified acquisition threshold (SAT), contracting officers may solicit from one source if the contracting officer determines that the circumstance of the contract action deem only one source reasonably available. Contracts awarded using FAR Part 13-Simplified Acquisition Procedures are exempt from the requirements of FAR Part 6-Competition Requirements. Interested parties may identify their interest and capabilities in response to this posting. The determination by the Government not to compete the proposed requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
