Title GE Precision Healthcare LLC Vivid IQ Premium Ultra Edition v206 Portable Ultrasound Machine for the Department of Perioperative Medicine of the NIH Clinical Center Product Service Code: 6640 NAICS Code: 334516 Place of Performance: Bethesda, MD 20892 USA POTS: 23-006126 Description This is a notice of intent, NOT a request for a quotation. A solicitation document will NOT be issued, and quotations will NOT be requested. The National Institutes of Health (NIH) intends to award a fixed price contract to GE Precision Healthcare LLC Waukesha, Wisconsin 53188 on a sole source basis to provide two (2) GE Healthcare Vivid IQ Premium Ultra Edition v206 Portable Ultrasound Machines. The purpose of this requirement is to procure two (2) GE Healthcare Vivid iq Premium Ultra Edition v206 Portable Ultrasound Machines to replace existing units within the Department of Perioperative Medicine. The GE Vivid iq ultrasound machine is equipped with transesophageal and transthoracic echocardiography, linear array and convex array probes so that the Department of Perioperative Medicine can continue to provide Clinical Center research participants with anesthesia care that is the standard-of-care in modern anesthesiology. The GE Vivid iQ is a portable ultrasound machine with a small footprint that can be accommodated in the operating room for intraoperative ultrasound exams. The GE ultrasound platform is also used by the Echocardiography service at the NIH Clinical Center which will enable the cardiologists to provide consultations in the operating room. Contracts awarded using FAR Part 13-Simplified Acquisition Procedures are exempt from the requirements of FAR Part 6-Competition Requirements. Interested parties may identify their interest and capabilities in response to this posting. The determination by the Government not to compete the proposed requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
