A solicitation document will not be issued and quotations will not be requested. The National Institute of Health (NIH), Clinical Center (CC), intends to solicit a quote and enter into firm-fixed price with STERIS Corporation 5960 Heisley Road Mentor OH 44060 The purpose of the acquisition is to award a maintenance contract to Steris, for new Endoscope Processors that were recently installed. The manufacturer of the equipment, Medivator, does not allow third party contractors to maintain their equipment. Beyond one year of manufacturer’s warranty that comes with the purchase of the equipment, a maintenance contract is needed in order to maintain the product. This will be a new maintenance contract for the aforementioned equipment; this will be a base + 4 option year contract (total of 5 years). The period of performance will take place from 11/1/2022 thru 10/31/2027. This acquisition is being conducted using policies unique to the acquisition of commercial items prescribed in FAR Part 12, in conjunction with the policies and procedures for the competition requirements of Part 6. Interested parties may identify their interest and capabilities in response to this posting. The determination by the Government not to compete the proposed requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
